According to Webster's Online, loyalty is the quality or state or an instance of being unswerving in allegiance. I am amidst watching The Kite Runner and find myself pausing it to cry. I am blown away by Hassan's loyalty to his friend Amir. How is one being capabable of embodying such strength and conviction? It's the type of beauty you can't replicate but only strive for.
This reaffirms by belief that those in your life that you love, well, you have to treat them, you must treat them, like this is their last moment on earth. I can't imagine anything more imortant.
